Kevin has spent over 30 years as a performer, conductor, and music educator, most recently at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Milwaukee. Prior to those positions, Kevin was Director of Choral Activities at Glendale Community College in Glendale, Arizona. Under his leadership, the Glendale Community College choirs performed several major works including Mozart’s Requiem and Vesperae solennes de confessore, Ola Gjeilo's Sunrise Mass, Faure’s Requiem, Haydn’s Requiem, Orff’s Carmina Burana, and Schubert’s Mass in G. Kevin has also served on faculty at Augustana College, Quincy University, and Idaho State University.
In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Kevin began his tenure with the Grammy Award-winning Phoenix Chorale in 2007. From 2014-2019 he served the Chorale as Assistant Conductor. As a tenor in the Chorale, Kevin has appeared on the Grammy-winning recording, Rachmaninoff’s All-night Vigil, and on Northern Lights: Choral works of Ola Gjeilo.
Kevin received his DMA and MA degrees in Choral Conducting from the University of Iowa and his Bachelor of Arts degree in K-12 Vocal Music Education from Central College.
